happyglam’s 19-free LED polishes are formulated without a variety of ingredients that could still be found in traditional nail polishes. “x-free” labels are commonly used by nail polish brands, but what does it stand for?
We are happy to clarify:
3-free: abstains from formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate.
5-free: also excludes formaldehyde-resin and camphor.
7-free: additionally abstains from the use of animal based ingredients and animal-testing.
10-free: additionally excludes parabens, perfumes, and xylene.

On top of that happyglam nail polishes also get rid of other ingredients, such as ethyl tosylamide, triphenyl phosphate, benzophenones, rosin, propyl acetate, bisphenol-A, mineral oils, phenoxyethanol and more!

1. 

   Prep

   • Cut and file your nails into your favorite shape.
   • Use our Cuticle Pusher to gently push back your cuticles.
   • Buff the top until you get a rough texture, this will help the nail polish to stick better.
   • Finally, remove oils and grease with our Cleaning Pads.
   • Give it a few seconds to dry.
2. 

   Paint

   Cure between each layer after applying (times are in the next step)

   • Apply a layer of Base Coat.
   • Paint a very thin coat of color.
   • Paint another thin layer of color.
   • Finish with a coat of Top Coat.

   Pro-Tip: Make sure to seal the top edge of your nail.
3. 

   Cure

   Follow these times if you use our Lamp (16W). If your lamp is stronger or weaker, times can differ.

   • Cure the Base Coat for 60 seconds.
   • Cure each color layer for 90 seconds.
   • Cure the top coat for 90 seconds.
4. 

   Remove the tacky surface

   After curing the top coat, use our cleaning wipes to remove the tacky residue

   Final Result

   Yay you did it amazing! Ready to show off your glossy and shiny manicure for the next 14 days!
6. 

   Remove

   It's been already two weeks?

   • File the top of your nails to break the surface of the coats. It helps the remover to better penetrate it.
   • Wrap our soak-offs around each finger and wait for 3-5 minutes.
   • Use either end of the cuticle pusher, to push off the nail polish.
   • Repeat the previous two steps, if some nail polish doesn't want to come off yet.
7. 

   Nourish

   You can use our Oil Elixir daily, but the best timing is after removing your manicure. Strengthen and nourish your nails cuticles with the Elixir's blend of vitamins and natural oils.

Now it’s time to be creative, show us your happy glam with your own color combinations. Important to note for beginners: all LED polishes have to be used in combination with a Base & Top Coat.
